AT&T taps AirTies for Smart WiFi Extender

AT&T has partnered with AirTies to launch the AT&T Smart WiFi Extender, a device designed to give users strong WiFi signal throughout their home.

AirTies is the supplier of the Mesh WiFi solution,which is designed to keep users’ devices connected seamlessly as they move around the home.

“The Smart Wi-Fi Extender not only boosts your coverage by up to 1,000 sq. ft. and reduces network congestion, but it also automatically selects the best and fastest available connection for each of your in-home devices,” said AT&T.

“Unlike third party solutions that cost hundreds of dollars, AT&T customers can get the same technology for a fraction of the price. Because we believe having great Wi-Fi shouldn’t cost a fortune.”

AirTies was founded in 2004 and has deals with service providers around the world, including Sky, Multichoice, Digiturk, Orange and Vodafone.
