FilmBox channels available in Armenia

TV channel provider SPI International/ Filmbox has launched seven channels in Armenia with IPTV operator Hybrid Solutions.

The Armenian operator has launched SPI’s basic movie channel FilmBox, Filmbox Art House, its vehicle for independent and classic movies, DocuBox HD, SPI’s factual channel, fashion and shopping channel FashionBox, combat sports service Fight Box HD, exptreme sports channel Fast&FunBox HD and music service 360TuneBox.

FilmBox, FilmBox Arthouse, DocuBox HD, FightBox and Fun&Fastbox HD channels will be carried on the HybridTV platform in Russian and English.

“With the recent launch in Armenia SPI/FILMBOX continues to expand its distribution footprint in new markets across CEE,” said Murat Muratoglu SPI’s head of distribution for MENA, Turkey, APAC, Russia and CIS, Baltics, Bulgaria and Ex-Yugoslavia. 

“We are happy to partner with Hybrid Solutions as our first partner in Armenia and to brings SPI channels to their viewers.”

Yerevan-based Hybrid Solutions posted revenues of AMD375.9 million (€650,000) and profits of AMD31.6 million last year.
