Deutsche Telekom taps Zenterio for STB scheme

deutsche telekom-logo-roofDeutsche Telekom Group is working with Zenterio to modernise the TV subscriber experience across various European markets.

Deutsche Telekom has deployed the Zenterio OS software in set-top boxes in Germany as part of a multi-year programme to transform how viewers watch TV and video-on-demand.

Rollouts are also now ongoing in Greece, Romania and Croatia, according to Zenterio.

The German launch is part of a new, entry level, Deutsche Telekom IPTV subscription package, providing around 100 TV channels from just €2 per month.

“Viewing habits are changing incredibly quickly as more screens are added to the mix and on-demand services become increasingly intuitive,” said Zenterio CEO, Jörgen Nilsson.

“We’re incredibly proud to be working with Deutsche Telekom to empower the TV operator to drive better TV experiences.”
