Yaddo adds offline viewing options

Yaddo_offlineYaddo, the documentary SVOD service set up by former BBC executive Nick Fraser, has added offline viewing options.

Users can now download titles to watch titles when they are without internet access via the latest update to its Android and iOS applications.

The update also includes minor bug fixes and improvements, and a three-month introductory free trial, following which users pay £3.99 per-month with no long-term commitment.

BBC factual commissioner Nick Fraser announced in September that he was leaving the UK public broadcaster to launch a new subscription video on-demand dedicated to documentary films and shorts.

Fraser had edited the acclaimed BBC Storyville documentary strand since its inception 17 years ago, and been involved in more than 340 films over the course of his career. The Yaddo Android and iOS apps launched in October.
