Sky Germany agrees multi-year deal with WWE

Sky in Germany has agreed a new multi-year with World Wrestling Entertainment to distribute pay-per-view WWE events.

The deal starts from this week and also covers the broadcast of flagship WWE events including Raw and SmackDown, which will be available live on Sky Sports.

“We are looking forward to the renewed partnership with Sky to present the WWE flagship Raw and SmackDown as well as our pay-per-view events to our fans in Germany and Austria,” said Ed Wells, WWE executive vice-president, international.

“The agreement highlights the importance and the global growth of WWE while creating another way for our fans to enjoy our unique blend of exciting, family-oriented entertainment.”
