Digi Slovakia adds AMC Central Europe’s Sport2 ahead of F1 season

AMC NetworksChannel provider AMC Networks International – Central Europe (AMCNI CE) has struck a deal with Digi Slovakia to add its Sport2 channel to Digi’s standard package.

The deal comes in time for the new season of Formula 1 motro-racing, which launches this weekend. The agreement will will extend Sport2’s coverage in the country by 20%, according to AMCNI CE.

Digi Slovakia will also add Sport1 HD and Sport2 HD as part of the deal.

“We are pleased to be able to bring top class sports to viewers in growing numbers in Slovakia. In addition to the prestigious Formula 1, we are also exclusively broadcasting the Kontinental Hockey League and the Champions Hockey League, high-class football championships such as Serie A, as well as the UEFA European Qualifiers.”
