Antenna Hungária to extend HbbTV services

Hungarian transmission services provider Antenna Hungária is to extend the range of HbbTV services offered as part of its enhanced MinDig TV Plusz digital-terrestrial pay TV service.

The company plans to add sports content, including football and the Olympic Games to its HbbTV offering next year.

According to Antenna Hungária, there are now half a million HbbTV-enabled TVs in the country, with over 200,000 actively using the MinDig TV service.
