Mediaset Premium secures NFL and Super Bowl rights

Italian pay TV operator Mediaset Premium has secured exclusive rights to top-tier American football for the next three years.

In addition to airing three NFL matches a week at night, repeated in the late evening the following day, Mediaset Premium will provide coverage of the Super Bowl, the 50^th edition of which will be held in Santa Clara next February, featureing the New England Patriots versus the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In total, Mediaset Premium will air 57 matches from the regular season, the 10 play-off matches and the Super Bowl.
