A+E Networks has partnered with Rovi in a bid to improve advertiser performance by better targeting audiences across its linear TV networks.
A+E will use Rovi Ad Optimizer to offer advertisers more precise data-driven audience targeting, in an effort to make more effective use of its ad inventory.
Rovi’s Ad Optimizer offers campaign management and media planning tools and can process viewing data from set-top boxes, panel sources such as Nielsen and Rentrak, and from third-party consumer data sources.
“Rovi’s analytics platform will allow us to offer our advertising customers similar levels of data-driven audience targeting that they’ve become accustomed to with digital media,” said Mel Berning, president, chief revenue officer, A+E Networks.
