Disney launches new iOS app for pre-schoolers

DJTV disney junior_ICONPay TV channel provider Disney EMEA has launched a new app for pre-schoolers, Disney Junior TV Favourites.

The app, currently available for iOS devices, offers episoedes from four Disney Junior shows – Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, Jake and the Never Land Pirates, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse – and is available in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Switzerland, Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria.

The app is free to download on the App Store, and episodes can be purchased and downloaded individually or as part of a bundle. Bonus content, alongside wallpaper downloads, will also be available for streaming. A total of 44 episodes will be available at launch, extending to 150 episodes over the course of the year.

Features include the ability to navigate between seasons and individual episodes, 20-30 second preview clips a Manage My Videos feature giving viewers the ability to download, delete and re-download episode purchases, rights to download content on up to seven devices and the ability to transfer content via Apple TV.
