TVPlayer launches 16 channels on Freeview

TVPlayerUK OTT platform TVPlayer is launching a portfolio of 16 web-delivered and free-to-air TV channels on digital terrestrial service Freeview. 

The channels – which include music, fashion, home-shopping and Indian networks –will be available on channel 241 of the EPG to viewers that connect their compatible Freeview HD TV to the internet.

The channel line-up will include music networks Heart TV, Capital TV, Clubland TV, Planet Pop, Channel AKA and NOW Music.

Indian entertainment and Bollywood film content will be available on the channels SAB TV and Colors & Rishtey.

Christian TV network, Revelation TV, and the English feed of news channel, France 24, will also be available. Meanwhile, the full portfolio of QVC Channels – QVC Style, QVC Extra, QVC and QVC Beauty – will join TVPlayer soon.

TVPlayer can be watched for free at tvplayer.com, by downloading the TVPlayer app from the App Store, Google Play and the Amazon Appstore and via channel 241 on Freeview.  TVPlayer’s Freeview service is powered by Simplestream and Synapse.
