Vodafone Germany launches vectoring for high-speed broadband

Vodafone Germany has launched a programme of vectoring to boost its broadband offering in the country, enabling subscribers to access ultra-fast internet via its VDSL network.

Vectoring can enable up to 100Mbps downstream and 40Mbps upstream over existing copper wires. Vodafone, which also owns leading German cable operator Kabel Deutschland, will roll out VDSL vectoring to several hundred thousand households in cites including Hilden, Kiel, Tübingen and Offenburg.
