Montenegrin Telecom sees TV growth

Deutsche Telekom-owned Montenegrin telecom operator Crnogorski Telekom grew its broadband and IPTV base by 5%, or 3,900 homes in the first half of this year.

The operator had 63,500 Extra TV customers at the end of June, up 7%, or 4,200 customers, on the same period last year. According to the operator, it has a TV market share of almost 42% in Montenegro.

Crnogorski Telekom posted first half revenues of €50.8 million, down 4% on the same period last year thanks to lower interconnection services revenues and lower revenue from fixed and mobile voice services. EBITDA was stable at €20.6 million.
