New chief for Netia

Polish service provider Netia has named Adam Sawicki as its new president, replacing Mirosław Godlewski, who is due to leave at the end of this month. 

Sawicki, who will take up his new post on June 2, was previously vice-preisdent of corporate affairs at metals group KGHM Polska Miedź.

Godlewski is stepping down after seven years at the operator, over which period he oversaw a 2.5-fold increase in revenues and a doubling of EBITDA, as well as a fivefold increase in revenue-generating units.
