Majority of Brits multitask while watching TV

Some 78% of British people multitask while watching TV, according to a study by BT investigating viewing habits in the UK. 

“Eight in ten people are distracted by other forms of entertainment and everyday tasks such as responding to emails, reading, internet shopping and online dating,” according to the research.

BT found that 51% of respondents said they don’t have a specific time set aside to watch TV, with one in ten favouring pre-recorded content over live TV.
