New finance chief for Discovery Networks CEEMEA

Discovery Networks has named a new chief financial officer for central and eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA).

Rafal Ogrodnik, who was previously finance director for central Europe at Avon Cosmetics Europe, will take over his new role from February 1. He will be based in Warsaw and will report to Doug Baker, EVP and CFO Discovery Networks International and Kasia Kieli, president and managing director, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.

Ogrodnik replaces Mike Papadimitriou, who has become senior vice-president and chief financial officer at SBS Discovery Media.
