Netflix rolls out Android updates

Netflix has rolled out a new version of its Android app for tablets and smartphones, offering improved search and personalisation options.

The update supports Netflix Profiles, which lets different members of the same household log into the same Netflix account – a feature that is already available on the PC version of the service.

The ‘enhanced search experience’ lets users search for titles by actor or director, as well as by subject – for example ‘ice hockey,’ ‘vampire’ and ‘Italy’ – according to Netflix.
