BT Sport signs content deal with SNTV

BT Sports has signed a content deal with sports video news agency SNTV – a joint venture between The Associated Press and IMG Media.

BT Sports will use SNTV’s HD video news content, integrating it into its own shows, and will also work with SNTV’s editorial team on additional material.

SNTV will primarily provide football footage – especially from the Premier League and of English teams in the Champions League and Europa League – as well as cricket and rugby union coverage.

Footage will include training and press conferences and breaking news reports.

“As a new dedicated sports network we need breadth of coverage and SNTV gives us this. SNTV have expertise and a flexible approach to covering sports news,” said Steve Norris, head of Sports Rights at BT Sport.
