Microsoft Studios signs up UK chat show host as exec producer

British chat show host Jonathan Ross has joined Microsoft Studios as an executive producer.

Microsoft has signed with the interactive arm of Ross’ Hotsauce production company, which develops apps and games.

The deal will Ross, famed for his BBC and ITV chat shows, consult on IP development across a number of platforms, including TV.

“Jonathan will be a huge asset for us as he really knows how to connect to mass audiences with an impressive understanding for audience tastes and trends.”
