BT Sport in global streaming deal for Rio Ferdinand testimonial

BT Sport has struck a deal with Rio Ferdinand and Streamworks International to show the footballer’s testimonial match live on its channels and online to viewers around the world. 

Streamworks’ global streaming network will make today’s match between Manchester United and Sevilla at Old Trafford available via the riotestimonial.com website in up to 170 countries. In the UK, the streaming will be free for all viewers.

Manchester United granted Ferdinand, who has signed a three-year deal with BT Sport to support its channels as an interviewer, programme-maker and football expert, a testimonial match as tribute to his 12 years with the club.
