Lovefilm launches Instagram trailer competition

Amazon-owned video-on-demand and DVD rental service Lovefilm has launched a competition inviting users to create their own trailers for its show The Vikings using its new Instagram app. 

Fans of the show, which is available in the UK exclusively on the Lovefilm Instant VOD service, have been asked to create 15-second trailers and to submit their entries via Twitter, with the winning entry receiving a year’s free subscription to Lovefilm.

Instagram allows users to create and share 15-second videos via their social networks.
