Rostelecom launches wireless multiroom service

Russian service provider Rostelecom is launching a multiroom TV service using equipment provided by Motorola.

The company said it would deploy the Motorola VAP 2400 video bridge to enable the delivery of programming to second and third TVs over Wi-Fi.

Rostelecom delivers digital TV services to about 1.4 million homes across Russia.
