Volia names new CEO

Ukrainian cable operator Volia’s CEO Erik Franke is to step down and will be replaced by Gyorgy Zsembery, the former chief operating officer of Hungarian service provider Invitel.

Franke will continue to serve as CEO during the first few months of this year to provide a smooth transition, the company said.

Franke said that it was time for a new challenge after three years at Volia. He said the company was now ready for the next stage in its development under new management.
