UPC Slovakia makes acquisitions

UPC Slovakia has acquired three cable networks that will see its footprint reach a total of 41 cities.

The company has acquired the networks and operations of Kid, Termosat and S-Team, each of which offers internet and TV services. UPC said it would roll out its high-speed broadband service, which offers up to 120Mbps, and TV platform to the networks in due course.

“Customers in these cities can look forward to the latest digital triple-play services under the UPC brand,” said Martin Miller, CEO of UPC Broadband Slovakia.
