UEFA awards football rights in Bosnia and Herzegovina

UEFA has awarded broadcast rights to the Champions League and Europa League matches in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the Champions League in Georgia.

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, following the recent announcement of the award of the best-pick live Champions League match each Wednesday to free-to-air broadcaster OBN, pay TV operator Telekom Srbija has secured the rights to all remaining matches including, on a co-exclusive basis with OBN, the final and the Wednesday semi-finals.

In addition, free-to-air broadcaster BHRT has been awarded, on a co-exclusive basis with Telekom Srbija, media rights to the best-pick match each Tuesday. The live match and highlights programme will be broadcast each matchweek on BHT1, FTV and RTRS.

With regard to the UEFA Europa League, BHRT has been awarded the rights to the best-pick match each matchweek and will broadcast the live match and highlights across BHT1, FTV and RTRS. Telekom Srbija has secured the rights to all matches with the best-pick match being co-exclusive with BHRT. The pay operator will show each matchweek multiple matches from each kick-off slot as well as a highlights programme across the Arena Sport family of channels.

In Georgia, UEFA has awarded all free-to-air media rights for the 2012-15 UEFA Champions League to Georgian Public Broadcaster and Rustavi 2.

Georgia Public Broadcaster and commercial broadcaster Rustavi 2 will each broadcast every matchnight one live match on 1 Channel and on Rustavi 2 respectively. In addition 1 Channel will show a highlights programme on Tuesday and Rustavi 2 a highlights programme on Wednesday.
