Digital TV penetration nears 100% in France

A report on digital reception from French media regulator the CSA has found that 99.3% of French homes receive digital TV on at least one TV set. That figure is up 7.7% year-on-year.

DTT remains the most popular means of receiving digital TV services, accounting for 61% of digital households. ADSL accounts for 30.8% of digital homes, with satellite used for 22.5% of homes and cable making up just 8% of households.
