Netia appoints CEO as owners step down

Polish service provider Netia has appointed Philippe Fort as CEO.

Fort is the former president of Netia’s Supervisory Board, and has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications sector with organisations including British Telecom, Alcatel, Ericsson and Atos. Fort joined France Telecom in 2000 and has been managing director of GlobeCast, Netia’s owner, since 2011.

Netia’s founders Christophe Carniel and Pierre Keiflin have left the company.
