Communications report could be delayed ongoing probe into media

UK culture secretary Jeremy Hunt’s upcoming appearance at the UK Leveson inquiry will reportedly delay the publication of a government report covering issues including public service broadcasting and spectrum usage.

The Guardian newspaper says that Hunt’s scheduled appearance at Leveson, which is probing the ethics and practices of the British press following the phone-hacking scandal, means the report, which was to be published this spring, has been put on hold until autumn at the earliest.
