ITV launches new online service for Euro2012

UK broadcaster ITV has unveiled its dedicated digital offering for the Euro2012 football championship.

ITV has created a new site as the first iteration of a new digital sport product that will roll out in due course, incorporating a real-time rolling news feature. Viewers who want to watch matches on a non-TV screen will be able to view them streamed live to the website and featured at the top of the web page, while those who want to use the site as a companion to the main TV will be able to view goal highlights, match reports and social media on a rolling timeline.

The new site, which ITV said was optimised for use on mobiles and tablets, was designed by agency Made by Many.
