TV4 and SVT win World Cup rights

Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4 and public broadcaster SVT have struck an eight-year agreement securing the rights to show the FIFA World Cup in 2018 and 2022 as well as the FIFA World Cup for Women in 2015 and 2019 and the FIFA Confederations Cup in 2017 and 2021.

For the World Cup for men, the pair have guaranteed that 46 of 64 marches will be shown on free TV. The division of the tournaments and matches will be made later.
