A+E names Zidek as European content sales director

A+E Networks has poached former Lionsgate executive Hana Zidek to become director of content sales across Europe and the Middle East.

Zidek was previously director of international sales at Lionsgate, which distributes series including Mad Men and Weeds, and she looked after sales in the Nordic regions and other territories across Europe.

She will be based in London and will manage content sales of A+E’s library in the Nordic and Middle East regions. She will report to Jonathan South, vice-president, content sales, EMEA.

This comes after the company hired Marielle Zuccarelli as managing director, international content distribution.

“I am happy to welcome Hana to A+E Networks. We have a seasoned content sales team in place and her background will further strengthen our efforts in the Nordic territories and the Middle East,” said Zuccarelli.

A+E Networks distributes series including Mankind The Story of All of Us, Seven Days of Sex, Dance Moms and Shipping Wars.
