Russian iPad use grows rapidly

Over 700,000 Russians are now using the Apple iPad, according to a survey by local internet company Yandex, representing about 1% of all Russian internet users.

The number is a six-fold increase since the last survey a year ago. The survey found that for entertainment content, iPad users generally reverted to specialised apps rather than browsed the web.
