DTG setting up hybrid TV task force

The UK’s Digital Television Group (DTG) is creating a hybrid TV task force along with partners in the UK and abroad.

Opening the DTG’s annual summit in London today, chairman David Docherty said that the UK’s lead in digital TV would transfer to the hybrid domain, with core features of hybrid platforms shared between European broadcasters. “We will kick off with round table discussions over the coming months,” said Docherty.
