Vivendi issues €1 billion bond

Canal Plus-owner Vivendi has issued a €1 billion bond in two tranches, which it says will enable it to lengthen the duration of its debt.

The first tranche is in the amount of €500 million with a four-year maturity and a 3.875% coupon. The second, also for €500 million, has a seven-year maturity and a 4.875% coupon.
