Viasat adds nine catch-up channels

Pan Nordic broadcaster Viasat has added nine channels to its online catch-up television service Viaplay.

The channels will be available on the digital platform across the region. Channels including classic movie network TCM, MTV, CNN, CNBC News, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Cartoon Network, Boomerang as well as Viasat’s own Crime Play channel.

Niclas Ekdahl, chief executive, Viaplay, said: “We know that our viewers want ‘Entertainment at your command!’ and now they get a wider choice of programmes, series and movies in Viaplay than ever before. The channels offer a wide range of content that is ready to watch when the viewers want to watch it.”
