Zucker eyes higher int’l revenues for NBCU

NBC Universal’s outgoing chief executive Jeff Zucker hopes that the company’s international business could generate 30% of total revenue over the next few years. Zucker, who announced he was leaving the Hollywood studio following the acquisition by US cable company Comcast, told reporters in London that the international arm of the NBC Universal, which operates a number of channels across the world, was a “great growth area” and that it currently accounts for 25% of its total revenue. This compares to 19% four years ago.
