Net Insight to provide network for SRG

Video transport infrastructure provider Net Insight is to provide a nationwide contribution and distribution network for the Swiss public broadcaster SRG.

SRG has chosen Net Insight and its Nimbra platform to build a nationwide contribution network and parts of a Swiss distribution network. Net Insight won the contract in partnership with cable company Cablecom, the prime contractor to build the network. The SEK20m contract will see the network become operational in the second quarter of next year.
