Sky News reaches two million iPhone downloads

BSkyB news service Sky News’s iPhone app has been downloaded by two million people, since launch.

Downloads peaked at 200,000 a month in April, during the general election campaign. Sky News has launched an updated version of its app, optimised for the iPhone 4, that provides enhanced picture quality and allows users to share stories on social-networking sites Facebook and Twitter.
