Baltkom reported to be seeking investors or merger

Latvian cable operator Baltkom is reported to be looking for new investors and may seek a deal with rival cable operator IZZI.

According to the Nozare.lv business news website, Baltkom is on talks with four or five potential financial investors. Nozare.lv also reports that Baltkom may seek a merger with IZZI to create a stronger rival to Lattelecom with 370,000 pay-TV and internet subscribers.
