UKTV commissions first online TV series

UKTV, the UK multichannel joint venture between Virgin Media and BBC Worldwide, has commissioned its first online TV series.

Comedy channel Dave has ordered a five-part sitcom with episodes of five minutes each. The show, FC Dave, stars David Baddiel and is designed to appeal to football fans in the run-up to the World Cup in South Africa.
