Warner Bros launches WarnerFilms in UK

Hollywood studio Warner Bros is launching a subscription video-on-demand film service in the UK after striking a deal with IPTV operator BT Vision.

It will launch WarnerFilms to offer subscribers 28 movies per month. Titles at launch will include Goodfellas, Zodiac, Training Day and Superman. This follows the launch of WarnerTV, an SVOD service that launched in 2007 across a number of platforms in the UK as well as on 20 platforms in 15 European countries. BT Vision customers will be able to subscribe to WarnerFilms for £4.99 (€5.78) per month.
