Comstar-UTS launches TV to PC service

Russian service provider Comstar-UTS has launched an online TV service, Stream TV on the PC, allowing its digital TV subscribers to view content on their PC screens.

The service will enable broadband subscribers to take the Stream-TV service without a set-top box, connecting via a ZTE AXV10 W300 modem. Subscribers will be able to access over 60 local and international TV channels and 50 radio channels, using an EPG similar to that on the TV service.

Comstar is making a promotional package of 11 channels available to subscribers for a month. It is offering three pay-TV packages – basic with 48 channels for RUB100 (€2.50), extended with 59 channels for RUB200 and a top-tier package with 62 channels for RUB300.
