Telemach launches HD DVR service

Slovenian cable operator Telemach has launched its new HD DVR offer, based on devices provided by Cisco.

The DVR will be free to higher-tier subscribers, while lower-tier customers will have the option to pay for the service. Telemach will charge €5 to replace a basic receiver with an HD DVR, while additional DVRs will be available for €7 and €9. The box has a 320GB hard drive and a one-hour buffer to allow viewers to record in full programmes they have begun watching.
