Intelsat reports strong revenue growth, profits hit by charges

Satellite operator Intelsat has turned in full-year revenue of US$2.5bn (€1.84bn) for 2009, up 6% year-on-year, and a net loss of US$781.7m, including non-cash charges of US$499.1m incurred in the first quarter for orbital location impairments.

Intelsat reported fourth quarter revenues of US$621m, up 2% year-on-year.
