Deutsche Telekom revamps TV service

Deutsche Telekom has revamped its IPTV service, Entertain, reducing the number of main packages to two – Entertain Comfort from €44.95 and Entertain Premium from €49.95.

The two packages include flat-rate phone and DSL-based internet. The Premium package includes, on top of the 70 channels in the Comfort package, nine additional channels including TNT, RTL Crime, Sci Fi, AXN, Sat.1 Comedy and Kinowelt TV. The operator’s Entertain Pur pack (from €27.95) remains available for customers that do not require internet access.

From March 8, Telekom will offer a number of new thematic add-on packages – Film, Sport, Doku, Kinder, Lifestyle and Lounge – that can be ordered via the Entertain menu, priced between €2.95 and €5.95.
