Teo launches SVOD option

Lithuanian telco Teo has launched a subscription video-on-demand option as part of its Gala TV IPTV service.

Teo subscribers will be able to watch a selection of movies and other content on demand for LTL7 (€2) a month. Currently, viewers pay between LTL1 and LTL10 for a single movie. Teo chief marketing officer Nerijus Inavauskas said that the VOD service was currently used by almost half of Gala TV’s 50,000 subscribers.
