Change at the top for RealNetworks

Internet video giant RealNetworks’ founder and CEO Rob Glaser is stepping down as head of the company.

RealNetworks has named corporate executive vice-president Robert Kimball as president and acting CEO. The company has begun a search for a permanent CEO, with Kimball named as one of the candidates for the post.

Glaser will remain chairman and largest single shareholder of the company.
