Tele Columbus confirms new ownership

Tele Columbus has confirmed a change of ownership that sees a holding company created by investment bank Nikolaus & Co take control of the German cabler.

The company was previously part of the Orion Cable group, which is owned by financial backers Escaline. As part of the deal two representatives of the previous owners will step down from the company and Dietmar Schickel has been brought back to the company and will serve as chief commercial officer.
