Viasat launches Football in Ukraine

Modern Times Group-backed pay TV operator Viasat has launched a soccer channel in Ukraine.

The channel, Football, will provide coverage of the domestic Ukrainian Premier League and also have matches from the top Dutch, French, Portuguese, Scottish and Spanish leagues. The channel will be carried in the premium Prestige package. Viasat said it will launch the Football Extra channel next year to complement Football.
