Sky Mobile TV launches on iPhone

UK pay-TV operator BSkyB has launched an application that allows users to watch live sports and news programming on iPhones and iPod Touch media devices.

Sky Mobile TV is available from today as an iPhone application, giving users the ability to watch live TV streamed via WiFi. All Sky Sports channels, Sky Sports News, ESPN, At The Races and Sky News can be viewed for £6 (€6.70) a month. This means users will be able to watch live televised matches from the English Premier League as well as a range of other sports on iPhones and iPod Touches.

The application is free to download from the Apple App Store.
